    CRAZINESS!

Okay-this might be the last time I get a chance to log in for a while.  This is what is going on:
    1.  My husband's grandmother-who is 104 is passing away.  Even though we are sad about this we are also relieved for her.  She has wanted
        this for sometime now.
    2. My daughter Katy is graduating so we have her Acadamy Awards for her Drama on Friday night, we have Baccalaureate on Sunday night,
we have graduation on Monday night.  Then on Friday night we have family coming in town to stay with us and then we have Katy's
Graduation party on Saturday May 26th and are expecting over 100 people.  (Pant, pant, pant)
    3. And we have hired a contractor to come in and get our bathroom paint ready so that we can get it painted on Saturday and Sunday but
he was supposed to come and start last night and he didn't show up.  (Pant, pant, pant)
    4. And if you look over at my photo albums you should see a new album that are Katy's Senior Pictures.
    5.  And Monday May 28th is me and my hubby's 13th wedding anniversary.

Soooo-with all of this being said.  If I don't get to talk to all of you I hope that you have a wonderful Memorial Weekend.

    HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Happy Mother's Day to all of your mothers.  I hope that you have a wonderful day!

My sister last night bought me a balloon, card, photo brag book and fixed me a steak dinner!  That was so sweet of her and I totally enjoyed it.  I would love to hear how all of you here in blogland got to spend your mother's day.

    GRANDMA WAS ILL

The most ironic thing happened.  I posted the message about Grandma last Friday.  And that Friday night my grandmother's blood pressure was 211.  So they rushed her to the Emergency Room and several tests were performed and it was found that there were more blockages in her heart.

So the doctors did another angioplasty(which was her 7th one) and found that she only has one functioning artery left to her heart that is now 70 percent blocked.

The doctors have told us that there is nothing more now that we can do for her other than medication.  Her heart is in really bad condition.
So yesterday they put a pace maker in and now have her on an experimental drug that hopefully will dramatically help her.

Anyway-after the very long week of her being in the hospital and in the ICU-she got to go home today.  So we were happy.  She was in really good spirits about all of it and is just tough old bird!

    Grandma is 88

We had grandma's birthday party last Sunday and she was 88 years old.  Here is a picture of her.  Isn't she cute!  I just love this lady.

She has had a lot of heart problems and has suffered from them but she is still a spunky gal.  She has always been my "other" mother.  Whenever I was married to my first husband, I had gotten myself into a really bad situation and my grandmother knew it.  My first husband, who is the biological, of Katy and Cindy was into drugs, drinking, he was abusive both physically and mentally.  Of course, I was very young, stupid,  and very rebellious and that is why I married him.  I never knew that he did drugs until after we were married and I walked into the bathroom on him shooting up "crank" into his arm with a needle.  It really blew my mind because I had never seen anything like that before.  Anyway-my friends, family and everyone pretty much stayed away from me and David but not my grandmother.  She was there for me EVERY SINGLE DAY.  She didn't let David keep her away like he did everyone else.  And for that I am so grateful.  And now when we talk about that time she always says, "We sure went through a bad time, didn't we?" She is such a special person and has a heart of gold and I really thank God for having her in my life.
